Hempseed oil-
Pure, cold pressed hempseed oil is rich in linoleic and oleic acid, helps nourish and rejuvenate skin. Control studies have shown it helps calm skin, reduce inflammation and irritation, and may help cure a host of skin issues from atopic dermatitis to eczema to acne.
Tamanu oil - The wonder-oil you’ve never heard of
Derived from the seeds of the Tamanu nut tree native to Southeast Asia Tamanu oil has been used medicinally for centuries by various East-Asian, African, and Pacific Island cultures. Tamanu oil is not just an excellent moisturiser like many other oils, but has numerous other properties as well.
It is packed with anti-oxidants, which protects skin from damaging free-radicals.
It stimulates collagen production, which is why we use it in our best-selling Facial Oil.
It has anti-inflammatory properties.
It facilitates wound healing (and has even been used effectively in hospital settings to treat persistent post-surgical wounds)
It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Jojoba oil-
The name is misleading. Jojoba oil is not actually an oil, but it is a liquid wax ester. It is a humectant, which means it seals the skin with a protective barrier, keeping skin hydrated, supple and moisturised.
Jojoba oil is naturally rich in vitamin E and amino acids, which are the building blocks of collagen. This wonder oil is a must-add to your beauty routine!
Fractionated coconut oil-
Fractionated coconut oil is a favourite inclusion in most high-quality body oils, and ours is no exception. The reason it is so prized is because it contains all the nourishing properties of regular coconut oil, in a quick absorbing avatar. Although regular coconut oil is great for skin, it is not easily absorbed. It sits on skin and blocks pores.
Olive oil -
Extra virgin olive oil has exceptional moisturising and nourishing properties to hydrate the skin. Its high content in vitamin A and E but also D and K makes it an ideal product to protect (especially in colder seasons) and nourish even the most sensitive skins.
Sunflower oil-
It also has an anti-inflammatory effect when used topically. The linoleic acid in sunflower oil makes it effective for protecting skin against bacteria and germs. This also helps skin retain moisture, so is beneficial for dry skin, and for conditions, even such as eczema.
The vitamin E in sunflower oil has antioxidants that help with premature aging and wrinkles, keeping your skin looking young and fresh.
